I managed to stop doom scrolling last weekend, Yay! Instead I collected resources, people to follow and other content on Stop Asian Hate movement on my instagram guide. I’ll keep updating these.
Oh also the last couple of days I have been looking into artists who collage using other materials, more than paper. So many inspiring work.
Miss Printed
This Norway based Dutch artist makes small collages, put them outdoors and take a picture of them in macro. I love her work is so playful. This one for example, uses wasted milkshake cup. She also takes picture of the entire background, makes it even more fascinating. Don’t you think?
Kouichi Chiba
This Japan based artist also takes photos outside, however they are using illustrated signature characters. I find their work calming, sweet and warm somehow.
Martha Haversham
Martha is a UK based artist, they use found objects in their collages. Flowers, feathers, wrappers even cabbage. Mostly they depict fashion images. So fun!
